The War on Drugs. The primary reason that law enforcement and politicians resist de-criminalizing drugs is that drugs give them entry, excuse and control of others and their property that they would otherwise have no justification for interfering with, manipulating, extorting, harming, beating, killing, imprisoning, confiscating.
